take your favorite song use a lyric in dialog with characters build a story off of the lyric conversation.

For ten minutes

make a list of things you’re grateful for take one of those things and write what your life would be like without that thing.

“A man always has two reasons for doing anything: a good reason and the real reason.”

Write about a choice you had to make the reason you told everyone you were doing it; then the real reason.


Or write a short story about a man who is doing something every seems to think for the right reason, but it’s for a real reason.
